Colorado Mother and Boyfriend Arrested for Murder After 2-Month-Old Baby Found Dead with Meth Exposure

The Lakewood Police Department shared details of the case to social media on Thursday explaining the child’s mother and her boyfriend were arrested. Officers were called to a home along the 500 block of Vance St. to an unresponsive infant on July 26. The neighborhood is in the Newland Station area on the north side of the city. When police arrived, they found the two-month-old dead.

“The Jefferson County Coroner’s Officer determined that 2-month-old Ezra Johnson died due to methamphetamine toxicity,” police added.

The child’s mother, 31-year-old Lisa Marie Johnson is suspected of first-degree murder.
