Man stabbed multiple times in random attack outside Niagara Falls City Hall
A 66-year-old Toronto man is in stable condition after he was stabbed multiple times just outside Niagara Falls City Hall.
Niagara police arrived at the scene on Queen Street near Erie Avenue around 8:45 p.m. Thursday and found the man in critical condition.
He was transported to an out-of-town trauma centre, where he was rushed into surgery and is now recovering from his injuries.

Police managed to find and arrest the attacker around 9:10 p.m. in the area of St. Clair Avenue and Queen Street. However, they failed to find the weapon used in the attack.
Luizao Miguel Castro, 35, of no fixed address has been charged with aggravated assault, failure to comply with a release order and failure to comply with probation
