Anunțul l-a făcut chiar ea, sâmbătă seara, în cadrul Sports Festival, la Cluj-Napoca, la finalul meciului demonstrativ Ronaldinho & Friends vs Team România, momentul vedetă al ediției din acest an a festivalului.
”O să vă bucure ce urmează să vă spun. La anul mi-aș dori să sărbătorim împreună retragerea mea. Va fi un moment emoționant și vă aștept să fim împreună la poate cel mai important moment din viața mea. Vă simt lipsa și vă mulțumesc din suflet pentru toată susținerea din cariera mea”, a spus Simona, la finalul evenimentului.
Meciul oficial de retragere al Simonei Halep va avea loc sâmbătă, 13 iunie, în cadrul Sports Festival 2026, eveniment programat pentru perioada 11–14 iunie 2026.She made the announcement herself, on Saturday evening, during the Sports Festival, in Cluj-Napoca, at the end of the demonstration match Ronaldinho & Friends vs Team Romania, the star moment of this year’s edition of the festival.
“You’ll be happy with what I’m about to tell you. Next year I would like to celebrate my retirement together. It will be an exciting moment and I expect you to be together at perhaps the most important moment in my life. I miss you and thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support in my career,” Simona said, at the end of the event.
Simona Halep’s official retirement match will take place on Saturday, June 13, as part of the Sports Festival 2026, an event scheduled for June 11-14, 2026.
