Man hospitalized following ‘targeted’ shooting in Niagara Falls: police
Police are asking for the public’s help in the investigation into a “targeted” shooting in Niagara Falls Saturday morning that sent one man to hospital.
Niagara officers were called to the area of Chippawa Parkway between Daly and Norton Streets around 7:30 a.m. after a resident said they woke up to a man knocking on their door saying that he had been shot.Emergency crews responded and the 28-year-old victim was taken to an out-of-town trauma centre for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries where he remains at this time.
Investigators believe that this was a targeted incident and that there is no known threat to public safety.
