Niagara Falls Man Sentenced to 27 Years in Prison Over Exploitation Offenses Involving Minors
BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Niagara Falls man will be spending several years in prison for producing child pornography.
Michael Bevill, 37, was sentenced to 324 months in prison in Federal Court Monday. He was convicted of production of child pornography.
According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Franz T. Wright, Bevill engaged in prohibited sexual conduct with a minor child under 12-years-old between June 2022, and August 2023. Investigators say Bevill produced photographs and video recordings of himself sexually abusing the child on multiple occasions.
Bevill had admitted that he gave victim sedatives before producing the child pornography, according to police. He then shared the images and videos to another person using the Telegram messaging app.Federal court judge hands down sentence in disturbing child abuse case
