Niagara University employee suing over handling of sexual assault claim
A Niagara University employee is suing the college and a former superior for their handling of a sexual assault claim.

Once Dr. Hahn reported the incidents to officials at Niagara, Dr. Le was forced to resign, but Hahn’s lawsuit claims the university did not provide her with proper support.
Dr. Hahn still works for the university.
The lawsuit also alleges Niagara University continued a working relationship with Dr. Le despite clear terms upon his resignation that all ties were to be severed. A university source said that NU does not have any ongoing relationship with Le.
Thomas Burns, Associate Vice President for Public, External, and Government Relations for the university released this statement:The university does not comment on specific personnel or legal matters, however, our first priority is always the safety of every member of the university community. When that safety is potentially compromised, we utilize every resource to investigate each matter, and take appropriate action as necessary. While we learned of the alleged suit from the news outlet, the university has not been served.”
