Serial theft incidents across southern Ontario linked to 2 women: police
Niagara Regional Police said their investigation started with a shoplifting incident at the Rexall Pharmacy in Thorold.On June 14, two women entered the store and removed multiple items from the shelves and hid them in bags, police said.
The women left the store without paying for approximately $1,000 worth of skin care products, police said.Police believe the same women are linked to similar thefts across southwestern Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area.
At least 29 stores have been targeted and merchandise worth over $28,000 stolen, police said.
Police seek the public’s help to identify the women in the photographs below.
